From an old belt

Take a belt that you have in your wardrobe and measure it. You have to measure it in the following way: from the buckle to the middle hole of the belt or the hole where you usually wear the belt.

Waist measurement

Take a tape measure and measure your waist. You should measure the area of your waist where you are going to wear the belt. This is important, in the sense that if you measure your waist but wear the belt lower, then you won't have the right size.
