In 2022, as part of the celebration of the 100th year anniversary of the AAP, Casa Libertas, to honour its’ family heritage as one of the founding families of the Asociación Argentina de Polo, put together a photo journal and book – For The Love of Polo / Por Amor de Polo.

Casa Libertas also sponsored the Best Playing Pony (BPP) at the final of the Abierto Argentino de Polo, for both men and women.

These original Trophy Buckle® prizes formed an iconic part of the Abierto Argentino de Polo, the world’s most famous and important polo tournament. A special thanks to Delfin Uranga – President of the AAP and his fellow board members - and to Maximiliano Funes for making this possible.

This particular year, of the 129th HSBC Argentine Polo Open, LA DOLFINA SAUDI Polo Team - Adolfo Cambiaso, David Sterling, Juan Martin Nero, Poroto Cambiaso - were crowned champions on the famed grounds of Field 1, Palermo. The team from Cañuelas defeated LA NATIVIDAD 13-9 with, Camilo Castagnola, Pablo Pieres, Bartolomé Castagnola, Ignatius du Plessis.

It was a historic day where the father-son duo of Adolfo Cambiaso, the world’s greatest polo player - was joined by his son, Poroto Cambiaso. La Dolfina won its 15th Argentine Open championship, an incredible accomplishment. Poroto Cambiaso playing his first Open at just age 17 and 6 days, became the youngest polo player in history to with the Argentine Open, surpassing Benjamin Araya, who held the record at age 17 years, 3 months, 11 days. It was also the first title in Palermo for Adolfo with his son, a dream for any family.
